8 Foot Italian Marquetry Dining Table 8 Queen Anne Chairs
You are viewing an incredible dining table hand crafted from walnut and with intricate marquetry inlay work made famous on the stretch of the Amalfi coast in Italy this was bought from. The table comes with the set of matching 8 chairs as shown in the picture. We can safetly say this is the ultimate dining set and would last you for many generations, hence becoming a great heirloom. I honestly hope the photos do this set some justice, it’s certainly better in the flesh.
When fully extended by the leaf system this seats 8 people more than comfortably and 10 easily. The table extends easily by the wind up mechanism where you insert the big handle in one hand (please see close up picture) and everything is of course provided.
Perhaps the main feature of the table is the fantastic marquetry inlay work on all surfaces. The patterns and designs include flowers, vines, scrolls and leaves. If you consider the process to acheive this you can appreciate the skill, levels of craftmanship and time it would have taken. Each shape from the designs is cut from the softer fruitwoods (rose, apple etc) and then embedded into the main body of the walnut. You can see the walnut also is gorgeous and it has all just been repolished so the grain has come out. There are even marquetry inlay details on the sides of the table and to the octagonal legs. The legs are on wheels so this is easy to move around.

You are viewing a gorgeous English Chippendale style dining table in mahogany with a matching set of 10 Regency dining chairs. The table features the distinctive ball and claw feet which are hand carved and very detailed. To the perimeter of the table top is further hand carved detail in the form of egg and dart banding. The table features one leaf which measures 22 inches so there are a number of different size combinations. The table is offered in great shape, solid and sturdy, wobble free.
Then of course we have the classic set of Regency style dining chairs around the table. The chairs have hand carved backsplats with Rosette motifs. The set of ten consists of two arm chairs and 8 side chairs. If you wanted a smaller set that is also possible. The chairs are very comfortable, solid and sturdy, wobble free, recently reupholstered too, always a bonus!

You are viewing a stunning English Victorian style 14 foot dining table and a matching set of 10 Queen Anne chairs in mahogany. I hope the photos do this stunning set some justice – it really is better in the flesh. Eating together whether with family or friends is probably the most important thing we can do – so why not do it in total style and quality with a set that will last for generations? We appreciate it’s quite an initial outlay but this will last for centuries hence making it a great investment and family heirloom. It was hand made here in England to centuries old traditions and the quality is out of this world.

The table is a Victorian extending diner that works by a winding mechanism at one end (please see close up photo). The table has four leaves each measuring 18 inches so there are numerous different combinations with this table. A leaf is an extra section of the table you can drop in. There are two D ends at either end of the table each measuring 4 feet. You could have just the two D ends together and the table would be round. Fully extended it is 14 feet long – and this would sit 12 people more than comfortably, perfect for large scale dinner parties and functions.

You are viewing an auction for a gorgeous Victorian style mahogany dining table and a set of 8 matching Adams style chairs. The table stands in at an impressive 12 feet when fully extended. This is a sumptuous dining set fit for a king and I hope the photos do this amazing piece some justice.
The table is Victorian style and extends via the handle at one end of the table which winds the table up so you can take the leaves out or add them to suit your needs. It also means the table can be made a lot smaller for every day use and big for lavish dinner parties. The table sits 8 people very comfortably – please see the photos to show how it looks with the chairs around it and also the extending mechanism. Wonderful mahogany Victorian dining set.
The table has chunky hand turned legs and they are on castors so you can move it around easy. This would have been made by craftsmen on the Norfolk coast in England, a region famous for this type of furniture.
The chairs are solid and wobble free, ready for home use right away. The back splats have been hand carved with typcial Hepplewhite designs including oval shapes and half rosettes, plus on the arm chairs are the acanthus leaf designs to the arms. This Victorian dining set is hand crafted here in England to centuries old traditions.

You are viewing a truly regal dining set consisting of a 13 foot Regency style pedestal desk in flame mahogany and a matching set of 10 Hepplewhite dining chairs. I hope the photos do this set some justice, it’s certainly better in the flesh.
The table sits firmly on the three pedestal bases which are on castors so you can move this around easily. When fully extended it is 13 foot long – and more than comfortably accomodates ten people – you can fit more if you wanted. This makes it great for hosting large scale dinner parties. The great thing is with these tables there flexibility. When you don’t need it so large you can unextend it by taking out the two extra leaves – you can even use it with just two pedestals, there is a variety of different size combinations.
The finish to the flame mahogany is amazing and the table is offered in very good condition with no scratches, solid and stable, ready for home use right away. Along with the table you are viewing a wonderful set of matching 10 Hepplewhite style dining chairs consisting of 2 arm chairs and 8 carvers. The chairs are handcrafted from the finest mahogany and have a lovely veneer to the wood. This particular set have just come back from the restorers where they had a repolish so they are ready for home use immediately.
They are very solid and comfortable and have white patterned fabric seat covers with flower motifs on them. The level of craftmanship on these is superb as is hopefully illustrated by the photographs. The legs are fluted to the front and of course the centre piece to the chairs and from where the name originates is the back rest which has the hand carved Prince of Wales motif to them.
